Last DISTRICT game was in 1989. Longview won 40-7.

Last game was in 1995 as a non district game. Longview won 29-12.

I expect Lobo fans will appreciate 13-4A if for no other reason than having sold out houses for home district games instead of a visitors side with 500 people in it. Maybe we can bless them with a few nail-biters.

The Longview Lobos are in my view excellence when it comes to football. That said, old foes like Texas High and Marshall are ready to strap it on with them. I look for a packed house in Longview when Texas High comes to Gregg County.

Venerable Grim Stadium the home of the Texas High Tigers looks like it is in for improvemets and more then likely they will be done soon.. (1.)The plan calls for 93,000 sq. feet of concrete to surround the stadium with 160 parking spaces. 2. A new field house will be constructed 3. Also new concession stands. with six serving windows.
